The pope came out with some new deadly sins last week.

There are the originals:

Pride
Envy
Gluttony
Lust
Anger
Greed
Sloth

Then there are the new ones:

Genetic experimentation
Tampering with the order of nature
Pollution
Social injustice
Causing poverty
Accumulating excessive wealth
Drug abuse


The Vatican's wealth is estimated to be between $10,000,000,000 and $15,000,000,000.

The Catholic religion forbids birth control of any kind, resulting in crippling poverty in much of the developing world, especially in south and central america.
